Mythology
In ancient mythology, nymphs were the spirits of nature, divine maidens who gave life and grace to the places they called home. They were honored at sacred springs and groves as guardians of the wild, ageless and deeply bound to the land and waters they belonged to.
Their beauty was otherworldly, so enchanting that mortals who glimpsed them were left spellbound, and even the gods were captivated. Legends tell of nymphs bathing in hidden pools and crystal clear streams, keepers of the secrets of the land. Their rituals were drawn from the earth itself: oils pressed from seeds and flowers, the fragrance of wild blossoms, and the nourishment nature freely gave.
The water lily, Nymphaea, was named for these water nymphs, and our house takes its name from the same lineage. Nymphaea is a return to the ancient way of beauty: pure botanical oils, simple rituals, and a deep reverence for nature. Every formula is crafted with ingredients chosen to awaken your highest natural beauty,
an invitation to tend to yourself as the nymphs once did.
